General Terms and Conditions

Preamble

These general rental terms (GRT) govern the contractual relations between the Macys Rent Cars agency (the Lessor) and its client (the Lessee). Any reservation made on the site or in the agency implies unconditional acceptance of these conditions.

Article 1: Requirements for the Driver

• Minimum Age: Be at least 21 years old (25 years for Premium and SUV categories).
• Driver's License: Holder of a valid driver's license for at least 2 years. Foreign licenses are accepted if written in Latin characters or accompanied by an international license.
• Identification: Presentation of an original valid ID (National ID or Passport).

Article 2: Use of the Vehicle

The Lessee agrees to:

• Use the vehicle carefully and in accordance with the Moroccan Traffic Code.
• Not circulate outside the territory of the Kingdom of Morocco without prior written authorization.
• Not sub-rent the vehicle or transport passengers for a fee.
• Return the vehicle in the same state of cleanliness and functionality as at the time of pickup.

Article 3: Insurance and Responsibilities

All our vehicles benefit from "All Risks" insurance with excess.

• The Excess: In the event of a responsible accident or without an identified third party, the Lessee remains liable for the amount of the excess.
• Exclusions: Damage caused to tires, rims, glass breakage, as well as damage under the chassis or inside the vehicle are not covered.
• Theft: In the event of theft, the Lessee must absolutely return the keys and the vehicle documents.

Article 4: Payment and Security Deposit

• Payment Methods: Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, CMI), transfer or cash.
• Deposit: A security deposit by bank pre-authorization is mandatory at the time of pickup. This amount is not debited but temporarily blocked.
